On October 22, 2011 the Colonel John T. Coffee Camp #1934 held a heritage tour and fish fry. There were two tours the first started at 8:30 am and the second started at 12:30 pm. Participants of the tours were treated to such historical landmarks as the Younger Lookout, Civil War trenches, monuments and learned about the Civil War history of St. Clair County, Missouri. Both busloads were filled to capacity.
Later in the day visitors were treated to a fish fry and fellowship. There were 150 attendees (100 for the tour and an additional 50 who came out for the fish fry.
